I hear a lot of talk on this board about the placement of the cheerleaders. That is not the cheerleader's choice as I am told. The athletic department arranges where they want the media, the dancers, the band, everyone. If you want the cheerleaders to move closer to the students, tell the athletic department.

I can't count how many times last night our guys were right down by the cheerleaders and they were just sitting on their butts doing nothing. I even started yelling at them from the student section. mad.gif

They way they all sit there on the sidelines, the dancers, too, makes me think that they aren't allowed to be up and cheering while they are playing. I could be totally wrong, but it looks like they were told to sit there like that. Some kind of rule maybe?? Or maybe they are lazy and don't care.....

I don't mean they should be throwing eachother up in the air or anything, but at least chant or something. Denver had a quiet, peaceful run to the board until we started doing the "boing boing pass" stuff.

The Cheerleaders do a good job when they have the chance too and so do the dancers, but i think they could get a little more active in the game, at points it just looks like they are bored and dont know what to do

Yeah, it isnt their fault that they are psoitioned where they are, but yes they need to be a little more active. It almost looks like 'Gee, how many cheers can we do while we sit down?' Oh well, we can pickup there slack!
