I may of misunderstood that the mayor was referring to one subdivision rather that the entire city. If so, my bad.

My wife has a friend who was asking for help getting her Mom out of her house in Beaumont 12 minutes ago on Facebook just now so it appears something is going on there.

This was actually in the Houston area that this happened.  Beaumont is still in bad shape though.  See my post on the thread about potential game cancelation for details.
