Not sure why Brett kept trying to manufacture a competition all Spring and Fall.  It was Fine's job to lose.  ;-)

argghhh Young to nose. No. I took young as my adopted player because I thought it was gonna be so fun seeing him sack the QB time after time. From the nose he can't do that anywhere close to the same degree. They must be afraid English can't come back as fast as foreseen or that they reaaaally don't trust whoever was behind Taaulo. To me, the d-line has just become a lot less fearsome.

Said it last week.. Hall was that impressive and I'm sure they will run Jenks in.. Jenkins did the same thing last year as well

I would think like another poster said, Young will kick back out once  English is back. ALso, it's likely being done because do you make do with Young at NG or burn a RS year for freshman DL.. 

the staff is likely taking the extra year over playing a kid like Tony K for 3-4 games
