i don't believe i got that email.  if i remember correctly, you've said you have club seats.  do you think that is the reason why you received this email?

i think it's a great idea.  something i could see taking advantage in the future.  it's possible i missed the email, but if i didn't, this should be something sent out to all season ticket holders.

Single game club seats! I love the idea as a marketing tool, but this seems that someone could just by single game tickets in the Club area for each home game and not have to pay the Stadium donation yet enjoy all the benefits.  Must be more to the matter.  Again, live allowing folks to "try it before buying it" idea, but, for me, I hope there are some "restrictions" on times one can do this "single club seat" thing.  We'll see...here's hoping we get lots of single game buyers who come back and purchase their own Club Seats.

Well, they did try to put the kabosh on people essentially doubling their club seats by buying guest passes for each game, so maybe there are similar controls in place here.

I didn't get a letter this year on guest pass policy.  Do we still have that?

Edit:  As @Green Crazy stated, he didn't get that email, so maybe this is effectively the new way to get guest passes, and they aren't on sale to the general public.

Got a bit of clarification from the AD...they are not selling individual Club Seat tickets to random buyers.  This is an effort to sell the remaining few unsold Club Seats...Stadium donation and MGC donation and all.  The email went to "selected" folks.  Once all this is "complete", individual remaining tickets may be offered to current Club Seat holders for guest use.  There is no intention of selling Club Seats on an individual game basis to random buyers.  That being said...I received the email and I still think it to be a bit confusing.

I think they should increase the face value of a single club ticket and sell them. Make it $150 a game and good for 1x use a season per person. In our current position, turning our nose up at revenue seems rather dumb. It's an opportunity to get people up in the club for a game on a 1x per year basis at a relative premium price. It could be what it takes to fill up the club area over the span of a couple years.

Thanks for the clarification.  It was indeed a confusing email.  That said, kinda curious what a single game suite goes for.   Did you get that out of them?

Edit:  And I can't help but laugh that some database administrator thinks I'm a "selected" folk!

Edit edit:  Is this implying that the club is nearly sold out and that it was a smart move of me to get in on the ground floor when the cost was prohibitively expensive relative to my income?  Good.

Yes....30-40 seats remain.  Was told they are focusing on trying sell the remaining seats so they can announce that the area is sold out! That would be pretty darn good news, but 30-40 seats is pretty close!

Uh, no! Club Seat holders each have made a significant donation to the stadium and have paid a required MGC donation (per seat) and have paid for the tickets.  Allowing a random buyer to pay $150 and forget the stadium buy-in and MGC donation is a "no" for me.  Now, that being said, if the powers that be feel it would be a successful marketing tool to sell the remaining seats...well, can't argue too much against that.

Unless things have drastically changed since I asked about this two weeks ago, no.  Club level is about the same it has always been, silver level is decently sold, white a little less, green mostly empty.

I'm pretty sure I said if that's what needs to be done to sellout the remaining seats, and you argued pretty vehemently against it.

Yes, I think so as well. I am more than a little "confused" on how I feel about this...as you so rightly point out...just do not want folks to "game the system" by buying single game Club Seats without incurring the buy-in and MGC costs as well.  Used once for marketing purposes, if the buyer truly is interested in purchasing and not just looking for a game ticket, I can definitely get behind.

Don't know, but Ryan Peck said there were 30-40 unsold Club Seats remaining in total and they had a big push on to get them sold.

Depending on whether you want to subtract for the $25 per game parking pass, my per game, per ticket cost is either $174 or $186.  And I'm only lowly silver level.

Nothing makes me more crazy than to have a Lamar or ((shiver) SMwho supporter in premium Club seats.  I get that if seats are available, anyone can purchase them but please keep in mind this is a North Texas home game.

This is why wearing green, any shade of green is green, to all home games.

This isn't and shouldn't be about trying to please and appeal to current club ticket holders. It's about trying to sellout the remaining tickets. An empty seat, regardless of location, is a wasted opportunity. We're closing in on the 7th year of Apogee stadium and not all.the club seats are sold out and we've never had a stadium sellout. Until then, we can put our financial feelings to the side.
