He signed a LOI with TCU back in 2011.

I'm not sure whether him playing pro baseball affects his college eligibility.

We had a really good QB back in the day that led us to a win over TCU that did the  same thing.

His last name was Beal.  He played pro baseball and came to us after that didn't  work out.

Beal was an option QB under Corky Nelson  if I remember correctly.

Does not affect him. I think that is a common thing of MLB teams offering to pay for school as well. So he may not require a scholarship either

Does not affect him as long as he never enrolled at TCU.

Arkansas Tech, DII, had a situation like this.  The guy started a QB for a couple of years.  His MLB team payed for his schooling.  He didn't need to be scholar shipped.  I think being a few years older was a plus.

Welcome the to team Austin!

QB room is going to be pretty crowded (now 8 on roster). 

Wonder how much eligibility he actually has left, roster lists him as a freshman. 24 25 year old freshman?
