Part of me desperately wants to see an elite guy at the 1 or 2 that can rip through defenses off the dribble, then score or distribute at an elite level, but another part of me is concerned we won't ever see that because Ross over-coaches these guys. Won't let them let loose.
Because they're in the Super Pit, Yeoman feels (every time) like there is an obligation to bring up Draper's playing time in Denton, either referencing his past as a shooter, or maybe we get some kind of hypothetical like what-would-you-do-if-you-were-out-there-DJ?
I get the idea - you're in Denton and you got DJ right next to you - but it's not working, Kyle. It's painful to sit through lol (sorry DJ!)
Also, the production mind in me thinks they can do better with Draper's mic. Even though he and Kyle probably use the same rig, Draper sounds like he is talking through a vintage radio microphone and he's a smidgen too far away.
