Really excited about Greg White. He seems to be filling the sorely missed role of the big outside wideout type that can fly and go up and get jump balls.

That's something we've lacked for a long time. I was hoping Rutherford would fill that role, but it's looking like White might be a steal for us in that department

I think Quinetin Jackson and Rico also fill that role.  Rutherford needs to do one of two things, move inside and be a possession guy and add a ton of weight, or put the time into running better routes.  Problem with Rutherford, is Tee Goree told him what to do since peewee ball.  I'm excited to see he's stuck around; tells me he is ready to ball.

Yeah definitely. Good to see we finally have some depth at the receiver position. Bussey/Jackson/White at the X and Guyton/Smiley at the Z. The A seems a bit more logjammed, but Lawrence seems to be taking the reigns on the starting spot with Duhon/Hair-Griffin in the rotation. I like that Chumley/Smith are at the Y. Really hoping Pirtle can steal some reps there. He seems like the perfect kind of receiver for that position.

*darden guaranteed to be an impact dude there. I'll take him over Lawrence every day.  But I like Lawrence a lot.  FWIW

Oh for sure. Darden's current weight scares the hell out of me though. Going across the middle at a buck fifty isn't exactly a recipe for longevity.

No doubt, but you also gotta catch him, dude has quicks that we haven't seen around here since Brelan.  Yah I went there. 👀
