Single game tickets have variable pricing between "Standard" and "Premium" games

Lol UTSA = standard game.  There are 3 games this year that I think are must attend games. 

SMU- Because it's SMU

UTSA- Rival?????

Army- Rubber match

True, and I'm glad they're doing it, but I thought it was interesting that we've finally implemented it ourselves. Also interesting because of what we deem to be "premium". I would think UTSA could fall under that, but I bet the AD thought that half of all home games is a good number and besides Army they wanted high-traffic days to have higher prices (hence Parents Weekend and Homecoming) -- the opponent on those days is fairly irrelevant.

I was in a meeting with some people from Army earlier this week, and they think they will have over 1K in people at the game..

Good move...A test of variable pricing could impact future home schedule if it's determined that the market will bear higher costs for a more premium product.

Great concept.  And, not that much difference in pricing, so should not keep anyone away.  Another step in the right direction (but, as some have mentioned, this might not be as new as we think).

The very first game I ever attended, Tulsa in 2008, had a premium game price on it.  I knew nothing of the program, looked up prices, Tulsa cost more.  I asked why and the girl said, "You know, we thought this would be a game more people would want to attend."

As mentioned above, this is nothing new at NT. It's just the first time I remember seeing them call games "premium" vs. just having a higher price for certain games.
