Is Graham Harrell UNT's version of Lincoln Riley? Is he the Head Coach in waiting

Things would have to transpire for that to happen. He could be a HC in 3 years from now after we go 8+ wins in a row. Or he could be a position coach again 3 years from now with under 6 wins running.

I think Graham Harrell's upward projector for his career (if I happens) would be one of the following:

1.) Becomes OC for Leach or some disciple of Leach's coaching tree who is at a bigger school (think OU)

2.) Becomes a Head Coach at a lower level school in Texas (SFA, SHSU, ACU, etc...) if we have success in the coming years ahead...

3.) Littrell has big time success here and is gone within the next couple of years and Harrell gets rewarded with a chance here.

Out of these 3, I would think he would need some serious success here, and he MIGHT get to #1.

No, we don't have a head coach in waiting. Graham and Seth aren't NEARLY as far apart in age and experience for that. I honestly don't see Seth leaving after this year unless we win 13 games and the stars aline perfectly ! He simply doesn't have enough HC experience yet to attract attention to the kind of HC job that would be a real advancement. Thus we don't need a HC in waiting.

I totally agree with you. We would have to have some tremendous offensive success and his reputation as being a Leach disciple would gain traction amongst the Power Conference Coaching ranks.
