Looked him up. He’s a 5’7” 170lb QB/Wr. You’re trolling us or you’re not watching the same games I am… unless he’s the key to unlocking 800 yards and 55ppg he’s not the answer. The answer is a defense with a pulse. I am not saying we don’t need or want him…but he’s not changing this team from losers to winners by himself. That lousy team that just whipped us last night has always had a better defense on the field than we have. With the exception of 2013. -

Why is the big white kid not playing?
Yet Stone has been playing since he was a true freshman. Nothing against the guy, just wondering what sets him apart from the others like Vice, Cotton, and Mason. -

UTSA has unfortunately become the rivalry that we deserve. All there is to look forward to now are cheap tix, short lines, wide open parking and a great MGB performance against ECU. -

Even if he developed as a college QB, he'd be a true freshman next year. Unless he takes the reigns year 1, he won't start until 2 more years from now which would be 4 years into Eric Morris' tenure with only 1 more year to go so a decision would have to be made on his retention. A 4 year plan in the portal era which possibly won't see that leap until there's 1 year left on the contract seems like a disaster waiting to happen.
