Softball: 2/26 vs. # 12 TX Tech
I would bet the 2 pm start had more to do with allowing Tech to get back home....at a decent time. (I'm assuming they bussed here for this game....may be wrong). As to the game.......we might have to go up against that top pitcher of theirs....the one they got from Stanford, after giving her a $1 million NIL deal. From Vito: βItβs a big opportunity,β DeLong said. βWeβre pretty sure weβre going to get Canady, who is probably the best pitcher in the country. It will be good to see how we match up. She has one of the best fastball-rise combos in the world.β Canady was 41-10 with a 0.76 ERA in two seasons at Stanford before hitting the transfer market. -
