Eight of the ten field coaches for Bowling Green are either former Texas college coaches; most, like head coach Mike Jinks, came directly from Texas Tech.

So, basically, BGSU has become like a 13th Texas college competing for Texas preps.

But are they seeing any results?  247 lists BGU as having one commit from Texas.  A two star WR from Cibolo Steele who had offers from Navy, Air Force and Incarnate Word.  I don't think they are quite the force to be reckoned with on the recruiting trail in Texas.  Could that change?  Sure, but they aren't there yet, and they might find the expense of recruiting these kids so far from home isn't worth it.

Yea and Jinks pulling a player from Cibolo isn't impressive, thats like Dodge pulling a player from Southlake.

Liberty just moved to FBS recently so wouldn't have noticed their offers as much before.
