I thought the same thing . . . and I'm a Bears fan.

That gave me chills as I read each of their bios and recalled seeing them play on TV.   I saw nearly all of them play (except the guys in the 40's and '50). Actually played with one of them in college (Childress).  He only weighed about 270 lbs.  He was on an entirely different level than the rest of us and mean as hell. I give it to Stautner. He played the game then coached both Lilly and White.

I would have to add  Jethro Pugh and  Ernie Holms.

Agreed , Perry was a clown. Should not even be mentioned in the same breath as these guys.
