North Texas vs. Southern Miss (Locker Room Edition)

Why would our basketball renovations include accent lighting, etc... and not the football locker rooms. If all else fails, just have the recruits on visits stare into Uncle Ernie's green eyes prior to touring the facilities.

I'm just tired of everything we do being half-assed. Take a look at the new basketball practice facility upgrades. We basically changed a few light bulbs to green and plastered a cheap banner with Ernie Kuehne's face on it (not to mentioned the creepy glowing eyes). I made better aesthetic upgrades to my 1997 Honda Civic in high school.

Crazy to think kids going from HS to UNT may actually see a decline in terms of facilities! Heck even the new SMU Tackle commit talked about how SMU facilities were improving and another reason he picked them

Lets just hope and pray that the IPF will be done the right way and will make us all feel proud!! Assuming it actually comes to fruition.

Those can't be the best photos of the locker room....can they? Maybe it looks much better with the lights off. I'm sure some better accent lighting and paint would improve the look, but those blond-colored "lockers" - oh my. Must have gotten a good deal on those.

Again, a few upgrades to our's and we are right there. La Tech has that dreaded drop ceiling but painted black, their lockers look similar, they have basically the same carpet in a different color. We just need some better lighting, a can of black paint for the ceiling, a cool SOW on the ceiling and graphic wraps for the walls.
