Conference Breakdowns going into Super Regionals

We're into the round of 16 in college baseball.  As usual, the SEC owns everything.  Teams by conference:

SEC -- 6

ACC -- 3

Big West -- 2

Pac 12 -- 1

Southland -- 1

Atlantic 10 -- 1

Big XII -- 1

Missouri Valley -- 1

 

Local Darling TCU is a national seed and will host Missouri State in Forth Worth for a best 2 of 3 series to move on to the College World Series in Omaha.

Not a big UT fan, but the UT/Long Beach State series was awesome.

I am going to have to pull for Sam Houston.

One of the best played.  One of the reasons I fell in love with college baseball.  Exponentially more true in college than MLB that it really ain't over til it's over.

Plus, thank goodness Long Beach's stadium hasn't gone the way of the all turf field.  That has to be the worst idea ever.
