Recruiting classes are mostly reviewed before any of them have played for their signing school.  So this is at least a year better.

I was highly disappointed with Littrell's first two classes because of the low numbers of signees that had multiple offers from peer programs.  However, I think it is a good sign that   most of his first freshmen class have either contributed or appear to have the potential to do so.   They may have been rated low, but are clearly above the classes that McCarney brought in.  Thats not going to get NT far, but I hope it is a harbinger of better things to come.

Pssh, you can't really "evaluate" a class until every one of them are dead.  Because, what if they're buried next to a SMU player?  Definitely points off for that.

You can evaluate them early if they have played.

If they can make a major contribution as a freshman, you did good to get them.

Many of this class got on the field.  Some made major contributions.

I feel good about where this class is and how this staff evaluates talent.

You haven't seen my lineup of Birth Class of 2016. We evaluated every baby born in 2016 and their chance for football stardom in 2034 and '35.

We have organized them into positional groups and tiers. You may find a few surprises in the O-lineman section as North Texas continues to struggle putting in an offensive line.

I heard Noah Jefferson from Katy was born at 10 lbs 3 oz, and I think that's a little light for the consensus #1 LT prospect.
But I guess we'll find out how good he was after he dies.

Really looking forward to the conceived in 2017 issue. Should be a real page turner.
