Twitter/Social Media Presence

Hey everyone,

I get that some of y'all are pretty old and don't know how to use this new fangled social media technology, but we have been getting absolutely TRASHED on social media lately, and it would be great if we had a larger Twitter presence to fight back. I've seen tweets from people who didn't know that there was anybody from UNT who cared about athletics to getting trashed for having basketball at the star to just generally saying UNT is garbage. I want us to have a larger social media base and presence and I really think it would be good for us. Obviously we don't have to be as obnoxious as Houston fans and tweet at recruits (obviously discouraged), but it would be nice to see more than the usual 3-4 people online discussing C-USA and UNT related topics. Plus football season will be here soon and it will give you an outlet to use your rage on other schools rather than other forum members ;)

Yeah. It's useless. We are a clarinet and jazz flute school. They care about athletics like I care about their flute and clarinet.

I tend to have mellowed out with age. The only people I'll go after is UTSA because they're an easy troll.

But of course WKU grads have time to shit talk us on Twitter, considering we closed all of the coal mines.

By whom? Anybody that matters for anything beyond social media trash talking trolls?

Again, who are these ultra powerful social media voices that so hate us and have the societal influence to keep us down?

Maybe you're just reading the wrong circles. Go to r/CFB and find that people, even those with burnt orange flair, generally have a favorable view of lil' ole UNT. Don't perpetuate the self loathing young one.
