Cody Spencer in 2004 to Oakland

Thanks techdawg88 for that little reminder of our football misery  :-)

Kishawn McClain has a decent draft chance... but all would need to have monster Senior years.

I'm gonna say no. A far far outside shot for McClain, but compare him to Xavier Woods, who was a 3-time First Team All-Conference player and tallied 6 career FF and 14 INTs. Woods was taken in the 6th round. A lot of premier athletes from major programs end up UDFA. Our guys will have to check a LOT of boxes to get their shots.

It's only going to take McClain a few games to surpass Woods' career tackles.

He's got a shot simply due to massive production.

Oddly sometimes it is better to not be drafted in last two rounds .... players can then sign with which team they want to be on and where they feel like they have the best chance of making the team. That is the ultimate goal ... Make the team...... . [ not just my opinion, have heard/read that several times ]
