What happened to the Stars????

I looked at the Box Score the Coyotes scored 2 in each period makes me sick. I did not get to see this game either I was playing drop-in hockey tonight at valley ranch.

Was it just because Turco was out, did Tugnutt do that poorly?

I thought this would be an easy one.

yeah, Tugnutt started the game but only made it about 17 minutes into the game before getting pulled by giving up 2 goals on only 7 shots. Turco didn't do very good either.

All aspects of the Stars stunk tonight. They weren't able to get any pressure in the Coyotes zone, didn't do anything on the powerplay, and didn't look impressive on the penalty kill.

They had been relying to much on the defense and Power Play to get them through the last few games. But those two things backfired and they played horrible. It will be interesting to see how they bounce back tomorrow night at the LA Kings.

I was at the second home game that Guerin had a hat trick, with the final score like 7-3. But they do need to score more, that game back in the beginning of November was the last one I remember where their offense went nuts.

I hope they get it together by the All-Star game.
