2. UNT's QB situation is at least a little concerning.

Mason Fine didn't have his best day throwing the ball. He finished 14-for-25 for 116 yards and a touchdown with an interception. Backup Quinn Shanbour threw for 253 yards and two touchdowns, while freshman Cade Pearson threw for 148 yards. 

UNT head coach Seth Littrell said he will let his quarterbacks continue to compete into fall practice. 

One would have liked to see Fine pull away a bit more. Shanbour played well at times and clearly won at least the backup job, but he has no experience when it matters.

This for me is #1-5. I really hoped to see more out of Fine.

Could he still be nursing the injury? I think if so, he'd not have been out there...
