I don't think it is a good sign that a lot of pundits are picking MTSU.  Certainly pulling for MTSU, but I am afraid they won't be sneaking up on Minnesota after their win last year and the number of talking heads that I have seen picking MTSU this year.

The longer MTSU hangs in the tournament the more money they make for us and the conference.

MTSU should win.  I still don't see how Montana is ranked that high.  They were a top 25 team for one week early in the season when things were up for grabs still and fell quickly.

Montana definitely doesn't deserve a 5 seed and maybe Minnesota doesn't either but I sometimes wonder if the selection committee doesn't try to set up some 5/12 & 6/11 matchups for upsets.

MUTS has quite an NCAA history--they have beaten UK, Florida State, and Michigan State in the tournament.

Some teams, like Richmond or UALR, for example, when they make the tournament, they tend to make some noise.

Kermit Davis is example A of why you don't give up on a coach after some mediocre times.  About 5-7 years ago the MTSU fanbase was really down on his ability to "go to the next level" and several of us made some disparaging comments about his coaching with respect to others in the Belt (including JJ).
