UTEP blew their late lead and ODU zoomed past them to win by 10. I think it was in OT

The North Texas/UAB Women's game was the only game to go to OT yesterday in the conference tournament.

I wonder if Candice is hurting more than we know.

She didn't practice with the team the day before because her knees were hurting on the plane is what I heard mentioned on the radio broadcast.

You're right.  It looks like ODU outscored the Miners TWENTY FOUR - NINE in the fourth.  Ridiculous collapse.  This team is not typical of Adam's coaching career in El Paso.

Down 11 at the half, but the ladies are competitive. Go Mean Green.

Game getting away now.

Those 10 extra minutes yesterday really caught up in the second half.

That didn't help, but NT is no where close to WKU.   Their second team would probably have beaten NT.

I don't know if they were THAT far ahead, but when I saw the brackets I didn't think we were very likely to get a second win in the tournament. This is exactly why we need to make continuous small improvements to first get our record better. A better regular season record means we don't have to play the regular season champion in the second game!

Playing in the Pre-Season WNIT is nice and all but I think it came at a cost of getting some wins and giving the team a chance to develop early on in the season.
