Robert Newhouse reincarnated?  In five and a half minutes of highlights he was tackled 3 times and run out of bounds 3 times.  Beast mode.

Shocked he doesn't have more offers.

Agreed. That highlight video is ridiculous. Nice evaluation by our staff, and hope he will commit and stay with us.

AMEN and AMEN.  That is as impressive a video as I've seen for a running back.  Not only was he dominating in strength and balance but he was pulling away from the DBs throughout the clip.  Very nice speed.

Let's hope that Seth can convince him that he can be another of our national champion running backs early, that he truly likes his potential teammates, that he has a better chance to start at North Texas, and then hang onto him for dear life.

I really like this young man's playing abilities.

His gait reminds me of someone, can't put a finger on it. Almost Mighty Mouse like.

I think he's stockier and shorter than his profile suggests, may keep some folks away (also real stiff, but he's got solid footwork and vision to build upon).

He's a bowling ball on legs. Kind of like FAU's Alfred Morris with 3-inch shorter legs.

I like big backs and I cannot lie.

I bet that Nevada offer is from coach Perry.

Describes his recruiting rn as slow which could be a good thing for us if that holds out. I think the thing scaring big schools away is that he plays at a 3A school.

Or you know, the fact that there isn't a season going on right now and bigger schools would like to see the senior campaign of someone at a smaller school...

I'm gunna say it's bc of his height.  Teshard Choice is 5'10" so this young guy may be 5'8". Just don't see a lot of 5'8 kids playing big time college ball when they can get a kid who's 6'2 that can do the same thing and their bodies will hold weight better.  Not saying this kid can't ball because I love his tape.

Has added Liberty, Abilene Christian, University of Montana, Navy after our offer

Also holds UNT, Howard, South Dakota State, and Central Michigan.

Lance Dunbar held up pretty well and was probably 25 lbs lighter.

Honestly, this offense could add him. I'm hoping with SL using a more traditional TE, we could do more goaline sets with 3 TEs or an extra OL to get short yardage and goaline when it's packed in for the red zone. Would be nice to add a small, but very powerful runner to go with Smith, Siggers, Johnson, and the RB we already landed.

I keep seeing you post we're adding a more traditional tight end, where did you see this?  Ever once at the spring game do I remember seeing a hand in the dirt true tight end.  Chumley is a flex TE you put in slot to get a blatant mis match on the LB as was seen in spring game when he ran wide open several times down middle of the field.  Makes Safeties sit in box longer and opens up a lot more route concepts slash windows for QB to put the ball in.
