Does Wren already have his man? Or do these two have an already-existing friendship?

Tolin's team is currently 22-5 after a 7 and 8-win season at Arkansas-Monticello. Tolin spent ten years as an assistant under his father at NAIA Oklahoma Baptist, making the NAIA tournament all ten years and three national championship appearances (including one win).

Based on the geography and their ages, I would be surprised if they didn't already know each other.  Still, it is noteworthy that Wren did this in a public way.

I'd guess this is more from a personal relationship.

WB will tweet congrats to other folks he's met through the years and this could be that.

If Kyle Tolin turns out to be the new coach, it will cement my opinion of how many posters on MGM really know what they're talking about.  One or two crackpots but enough crackpots to actually have some good and early information.

Funny how the "crackpots" have a better record of being right about this program than the suck ups, isn't  it?

I know they go way back, and he has a great record as a coach.
