Maybe trying to fish a couple out after the New Orleans area HS coaches threatened to boycott LSU after they unceremoniously fired a coach recently.

So, since we offered, is this "we can't recruit" or are kids simply deciding to go to a school they see, for some reason, as a better choice for them?

How do we keep other schools from offering and kids accepting?

Seems to me that it isn't so much "our coaches can't recruit" as it is..."we have not been winning enough games of late".

We can keep other programs from offering our guys by having the best FCS roster in the FBS, as we're on pace for.

Good recruiters recruit. Dodge did it even if it was only a class or 2. Dickey did it even if it was only a class or 2. But that's just it, at this level in this conference it only takes a class or 2 to be really competitive.

A lot of G5's rise up from the ashes into relevance.Typically one, a new one, can be pointed out each year. It can almost always be contributed back to the 1 to 2 previous recruiting classes. Last years was WMU. Fleck recruited very, very well at the MAC level leading into that undefeated season. It can be done because it is being done every year. Time will tell who it is this year.
