Great half time recognition for the 2007 sun belt championship team. There are a good chunk of fans at the pit and we are leading. The team alwaysmpkay better with a lot of fans. It was interesting to see some of the videos of the 2007 run and see the pit less full than it is now though. Hopefully we can hold on to the lead considering we are a horrible second half team. Maybe it's a good sign that it looked like Todd Shelton was making some calls out of the tunnel with the team. Maybe they decided Benford should not lead he half time pep talk haha

Every game it seems like the refs have it out for Ricky Brice. He was no where near the play and they gave him a foul. He was just standing there. These refs need to leave him alone and let bigs be bigs.

The women win! Win streak now at 5!

The girls are definitely closers (exactly what the boys are missing)! That was the third OT road win of the year.

Maybe Jaleel can skype in to our late game situations to help the boys close one finally?

cusa refes are bad in all sports. that lady official  during the football games was really terrible.

nice to finally beat UTSA at something.  wonder if the win will save his job?

Beat them last year as well ... at their place:

70 points is our first hurdle to victory.  We have not won a game this year scoring less than that.  (not a guarantee: we have lost a few when scoring 70+)

UTSA looks like it's about to go on a run.

Making free throws helps. Haven't won a game when shooting under 60% from the stripe.

Good win for the men. Glad they finally stepped on somebodies throat when they were in the lead. Not sure what would have happened had it gotten close in the end, but I would not have been too optimistic.

Wow, UTSA is awful.  Probably should give up basketball.  Better yet, all sports.

I wouldn't mind having that Freshman guard(?), Frohnen(17 pts), that was out there today for nUTSAk.

Two wins over nUTSAck in one day? Hot diggity!

Kudos to Jalie Mitchell and the ladies especially. After a rough start to the season, they've surpassed their win total from last year. It'll be tough, but they still have a chance to finish at .500 or better without the conference tournament's help.

Frankly, I am very happy to have Ryan Woolridge playing at guard for UNT - eight steals against UTSA.

Really decent crowd for the men's game as well...not what we would like to see...but way more than one might expect for a team with a like record.  It was so much fun to be watching the men in person and following the ladies on Twitter as the MERAN GREEN took down UTSA TWICE in one day!  GREATNESS folks.

The bonus was seeing all the members of the 2007 NCAA team in the Green Room before the game and getting to chat a bit and then seeing them honored on court at half-time.  Pretty cool video of that SBC Tourney win and some NCAA shots.
