SO, amidst all this orgy of firing, who is going to fire the ones in charge of changing our culture? Or more to the point the ones who have NOT changing our culture? "Jitter" Nolan was hired to bring about culture change at North Texas. His subsequent hire, Hayden Fry, went about trying to change our culture regarding athletics. One got a better offer after fighting uphill all the time to bring about change, and one got run out of town on a rail by all the "old nesters" at NT. 46 years later we still have the same basic culture regarding athletics. Make that our usual LACK of culture. -

One of the major risks of a continuation of this failed approach without some significant change in coaching is losing whatever quality players we do have since movement to another program is now so easy. -

Exactly. When we fired Littrell with 2 years left on his contract, that was unprecedented, and several big-money donors had to step up to make that happen. Jared has zero ability to fire Morris at this point, unless someone sticks $4 million or so dollars in his hand for that express purpose.- 1
