I bet Garner has something to say about that ?

I thought about mentioning him because he's vocal and a good player... but he seems more like a clown.  There's definitely room for guys like him, keeping the mood light, encouraging, etc...  but I wouldn't say he's a "leader".   Maybe his disposition will change as he gets older and he will become that guy.

I prefer my leaders make plays, people typically follow that.  I agree you don't need a team full of goofballs but he has plenty of leadership qualities.

Tony Krasniqi. Just the name alone is a tough sounding old school football name!

I thought the same thing. His name sounds like he played in the Big 10 for Woody Hayes.

As to the current group of players, I'm most impressed with the RB's. Johnson from Louisiana and the young man from Duncanville. Both are very fast.......and VERY DETERMINED. I can see lots of YAC's (yards after contact) from these guys.

I think Johnson will be the surprise of the class although NT has not had a lot of luck with Louisiana players.

I have to second this Evan Johnson. "You turn on the tape" and this guy can flat move!  Will be fun to see this guy getting after it. I think we will be pleasantly surprised with this recruiting class. Not sure I buy into the whole star classification and etc.

It is difficult for me to pinpoint just one or two.

On offense: Siggers, Darden, Johnson and Davis all jump off the page at me.  I really think Johnson is the sleeper of the group.

Defense: Thornton's athletic ability off the edge, Fulp's motor and size and the size, length and ability of both Johnson and Sanders looks good.  Down the road, I think our DL prospects could be something.  Like what we added there, but I think it will be some time before those young men contribute.

I was watching some of his highlights yesterday and he does have some ankle-breaking moves.  I just hope his size doesn't hamper him.  If not, he could be the next Darren Sproles.

Have to go with hometown boy Fulp from China Spring. If he can live up to Chapman and Boutwell standards, which I know he can, he will be a long time starter.   He is mean and nasty. I am curious if they will leave him at OLB or put his hand on the ground. He is a terrific pass rusher.

Tyreke Davis...since he is an unprecedented signing out of Denton.  Did you know we NEVER sign those kids?

Also, did you know that losing out on a 3* kid and replacing him with two other 3* kids means we are getting beat in recruiting by middle school coaching staffs?  No, really, if I say it enough it becomes true.

HOF worthy post!
