Night before recruiting thoughts

We have and will continue to debate the merits of Littrell's second recruiting class.   However, tomorrow is the recruits' day.   It's immaterial if a recruit is 5 or 2 stars; any player that signs with NT is wanted and appreciated.   It is a major accomplishment to be awarded a college athletic scholarship and few get that privilege.   Once on the field, it doesn't really matter what you did in high school or juco; you have to prove that you can play at the major college level.    

I want to congratulate those that sign with NT in any sport.  In my view, you make an excellent choice.

So here is a real question... once these kids sign, are we allowed to tweet at them congrats? or is that still not allowed? Showing some love to these kids(if allowed) like we have with English and other players, is the least that we could do for them sticking with UNT

Once they sign a LOI, they are student athletes, here is what a booster may NOT do provide to a athlete:

• Tickets to college or professional sporting events.
• A special discount, payment arrangement or credit on a purchase or service.
• Cash or loan or signing or co-signing of a loan.
• Transportation, payment of expense or loan of any automobile.
• Benefits or gifts based upon the student-athlete’s athletic performance.
• Free or reduced rent or housing.

So yes, as long as you are not doing any of the above, I think tweeting them is allowed.  ONCE THEY SIGN A LOI.
