Been there!  Enjoy it while it lasts.  Seems like it lasts forever while you are in the middle of it and then, poof, it is gone.

I've been told the days are long and the years are short.   So far (6yr-old & 4yr-old) the saying has held very true.

Lol my apologies... yes @MEANGREENCOACH2 he almost beat us in 7 on 7 by himself and we have a loaded secondary this year.  He is crazy athletic

SO here’s the thing. With Nic going to ULM there are 2 possibilities: 1) We stopped recruiting him. This would be absolutely insane on the staff’s part. We need a REALLY good TE. Not to mention that he is also a very highly rated player and numerous other schools wanted him or even scarier 2) we couldn’t outrecruit ULM for a local talent. Either way, this is disgusting.

I have been proven wrong again.  Kid looks like a million bucks and has potential through roof, look at his tape from this year (basically non existent) think his offers dried up and he went with what was left or best of what was left IMO.

Watch the tape with pads. Kid got all the offers after he dominated 7 on 7. Put him in pads and he had one offer left.

      Rule Changes to NCAA Football

      If I am not mistaken, the NFL deducts sack yardage from passing stats. It may give a more accurate picture of rushing and passing offense. It doesn’t change total offense.

      Should we add Texas State to the AAC?

      As in, right now? If a school leaves and we need a replacement, I see them as a solid candidate. But I don't think we need to add them just to add them.

      Rule Changes to NCAA Football

      Hate thinking that we need more rules but something they have to address is the players that are faking injuries bro slow down the momentum of another team and the ones that are just straight out flopping onto the ground to try and get a penalty thrown against the other team.

      Mean Green Host Rice Wednesday Night

      DENTON – The UNT men’s basketball team hosts American Athletic Conference undefeated Rice Owls Wednesday night at the Super Pit. The Mean Green (10-4, 1-1) and Owls (11-4, 2-0) are scheduled to tip-off at 8 p.m. CT. The game will be broadcast on the Mean Green Sports Network, presented by Learfield and on ESPNU. UNT has won the last two meetings against Rice and eight of the last 10. Wednesday will be the first time the two teams have played in Denton since 2023. The Owls are under the leadership of veteran head coach Rob Lanier who is in his first season as Rice’s head coach after serving as SMU’s head coach from 2022-24 where last year he led the Mustangs to a 20-win season and split their series against North Texas. Lanier also served as the head coach at Georgia State (2019-22) and Siena (2001-05). Rice enters Wednesday’s game having won its first two league games of the year. They opened with a 70-64 road win over Tulsa on New Year’s Day and a 68-55 home win over Charlotte on Saturday. After Wednesday night’s game the Mean Green have a six-day break before facing East Carolina on the road on Jan. 14.
