Another kid that could have gotten a medical redshirt if Benford wasn't trying to protect his job.

So Combs and Fraizer could be back next year if UNT was committed to basketball...

no way he played 30% of games, think he could get a 6th year of eligibility with a medical Hardship if UNT AD office is doing it correctly

You really think the NCAA wants this kid around next season to remind everyone how they didn't really put the hammer down on SMU? I think this waiver will somehow not get through. But I guess its worth trying.

So there is a chance the new coach could inherit Combs and Frazier along with Woolridge, Lawson, and Brice? The cupboard is far from bare. We need to make a solid hire and we could be right back in this thing. Finally...

Keith Frazier has had a really tough run since leaving SMUt. I sincerely wish him the best and hope he recovers fully for the biggest game there is...life.

Frazier was a hail Mary that might have been instrumental in Benford getting to coach the last year of his contract, but certainly didn't work on the court.

I doubt he is going to be granted any medical red-shirt if he even wanted one.    He was only eligible for one semester this year, so I would guess his college playing days are over.
