Next year would be his last year to play, so most likely a PWO/walk on offer.. if he got the grades.. he changed his bio in his profile to Not Eligible last year from Acad. Eligible.. i'm guessing he got his grades up and could attempt to play.. But back to Darden.. Would be a great add because he could play that wildcat QB/WR which I hope that they do with Griffin from last years class

Hope he stays eligible if true. But I do see this on his twitter page.

Man, hows that for the stealthy recruiting we kept hearing about. If they could add him and Tre Siggers in the last couple of days that'd be something. An offense with Jeffery Wilson, Nic Smith, Rico Bussey, Tyler Wilson, Deion Hair-Griffin, Tre Siggers, (hopefully) Tre'von Bradley, Jalen Guyton, Greg White, Evan Johnson, and Jaelon Darden will be fun to watch!

I know I'm probably missing someone which makes that list even better!

I love Siggers' physicality in his tape but Darden's elusiveness was fun to watch! Those 2 and Bradley are probably my favorite adds if we can hold onto Bradley and add Darden

Any idea of SL and Co. can come up with an extra 3 star to replace him? I know we got White but I would like to be able to replace Bradley with a 3 star and then tag on Darden with him

Also way more and better offers! Not many times is your "fallback option" basically a better recruit in every evaluation way. Would've loved adding Bradley but definitely don't think that Darden is a "plan b" type player. He looks like he could be special in Denton!

Was Darden injured his senior season? Big-time recruit and first team all district as JR then FCS offers and honorable mention all district as a SR.

The kid's film is incredible. Trying to figure out why all the P5 offers evaporated. Has he qualified?

Welcome to Denton Jaelon. See, there are smart young men out there. Left the Houston to come north. Other will wish they had done the same. Mr. Darden will be a game changer. Needs to add a little weight and he will be good to go. His HS film reminds me of BC and that is a good thing.

That's exactly what I saw when I watched his tape too! Just needs to add a little more size but if he can play anywhere close to that level it's an amazing add!
