why is this clock not in single digits yet.

To make things go faster, you need a Time Lord!

I was kind of hoping that there was announcement that beat the clock, I guess that is just wishful thinking.

Sort of the mantra for being a North Texas fan.

I keep thinking that will change.

Like I hope they fire Benford today or sooner.

I worked for a guy for several years whose favorite statement to me was "Hope is for church!".

Example: "I hope to finish last month's statements by the 5th." Response: "Hope is for church!"

My statement to direct reports when hope creeps into they vernacular is "Hope is not a plan".

Are you saying that there is not even hope anymore?

LOL what if he makes the conference Tourney...

Do we give him an extension?

Just joking!

Only chance he has is to win out, win the conference tournament, and win a couple games in the NCAA Tournament.

Well, I did receive an email solicitation to purchase all session passes to the conference tourney yesterday.

However, there was no mention of CUSA Championship Game Parking Passes.

What if he goes wins out, the conference, and wins the NCAA Title?

Do we thank RV for the hire, and WB for sticking with him?

LOL

Hey, now that we've given Littrell that extension that absolutely nobody was demanding... Maybe, finally, we can finish up that Benford evaluation?

Never too late to fire him, until of course it's too late to fire him.

Now that Benford's tenure is nearly complete, does that mean we won't play Butt Wipe Christian and other NAIA schools in nonconference anymore?

But, those are the only games we can win!

Even with those, we've been known to leave a few skid marks!

I'm not in any way a fan of calling for someone's job. Taking away someone's ability to support their family needs to be done as a last case scenario and not done lightly. That said, if he isn't already looking for something for next season, he's the the dumbest guy around.

This is the last year on his contract, isn't it? So he never got fired. With his results, that's a pretty lucky run. And if he managed his money well, he could probably take a year or two off and travel and hang with family while looking for another decent gig. That's actually a huge win.
