That's pretty cool. I've never seen a stat site for offensive lineman

Yeah it's an interesting metric, but has its limitations. While it's easy to credit the line for generating line rushing yards, it's difficult to really measure its pass pro since not all sacks are created equal. But it's a start.

Is that 6 OL in one class? Seems a bit excessive.

No way in hell is it excessive, IMO.  Can't have too many OL/DL players--which UNT has had major difficulty recruiting in the past.

So what does UNT Staff see that 125 other FBS teams is not seeing?

Hopefully something similar to the 'it factor' of a certain Cowboy QB getting passed over three rounds in last year's NFL draft.

Other FBS schools see a 235 pound O-lineman and say either:  (1) he can bulk up and play tight end, or (2) we don't have tight ends; he's going grow into a nice DII or FCS lineman.

Our coaching staff sees a 235 pound O-lineman without any FBS offers and says:  (1) here's one we can land!

I trust Brad Davis, even if the kid may never grow into a true FBS-sized lineman.  Or...something like that.  What other choice do we have as fans?

We've already got FBS's smallest QB.  Maybe Littrell's offensive coaches are trying to recruit the smallest offense in the FBS all the way around. It's a novel idea.  Gotta hand it to them.  They won't have much competition to achieve it either.

He's 6'4"+ and already reportedly bulked up to 261 lbs after playing in the 230's. I'm sure the staff projects a 6'4" 290+ kid who's athletic.
