I will have to admit, that I was on board for a truly good year in Basketball.  I had us at 20 wins......I was so wrong!!  I thought TB had recruited the right players, and were just a little experience from piling up some wins this year.  I like TB as a man, and thought he had what it takes to pull it all together....  I was wrong.  TB may have a solid future as a recruiting coach at a strong Mid-Major, or lower tier P5....but not as a HC...not at this level.

I still think we have a lot of talented players on our team; but fear they have all given up on this season.  I will continue to go to as many games as I can to support the players, and will NOT lower my support for the University....those are silly threats....just drop out if that is your way of thinking.  I do believe in AD Baker, and have confidence that he will do the right thing going forward.  Why he hasn't made a move to this point; I don't know.  I haven't asked him, and he hasn't called me to tell me why.

Anybody that thinks the UNT AD and administration wants UNT basketball, or any other group/team to fail is just flapping their gums to hear themselves speak....no validity in that what so ever...  We either trust the current administration will do what is needed to be done, or we don't.  UNT didn't put a lot into it's athletic program in years past, but I believe we have the people in place to make that commitment.

Come on out and support the players since they are not getting the coaching they deserve; they should at least get all of the fan support we can provide.

No.

You believe a fairy tale and then take shots at those who want a problem corrected as "flapping their gums."

Left to this line of thinking, Rick Villarreal would still be AD.

I encourage everyone to email Wren Baker and let him know how you feel. So far he had been a man of inaction, something very familiar to fans of this program. Let's hope this changes.

I don't think there is a poster on this board that has been more wrong more often. No credibility.

I admitted I was wrong in believing we would have a good season.  Are you saying we do not have talented players?  Tell me specifically where I have been incorrect more than anybody else on this board?  Be specific?  Is your the only opinion that counts?  That says a lot for insecurity... Your only answer is to insight anger....against those who shut you out...

Nope. You were against efforts to oust RV. Did you read the consultants' report? You sunshine pump and never address problems inside the culture and AD at UNT. Your answer is to ALWAYS tow the party line. Left to you, RV would still be here because it costs to much money to buy him out.

If I have to insight anger in a basketball fanbase that has been through what is has been through the last 4 years, this program is doomed and dead because of lack of interest.

Trying to guilt fans into supporting a crap product that UNT has  allowed to continue to be a crap product is crap.

now your just lying...that is sad...for you.  If you ever actually read any of my previous posts, I said it was time for RV to go.  I like RV, still do.  But the time had come for him to go.  I never once said it cost too much money to buy him out.  Lying is part of your MO....  I read the report, and I was there when we had the discussion at Apogee....same as you....

I will support the team/players and the athletic program in general, because I want to.  IF, you carried as much weight as you think/say you do with all of your complaining, the AD would hire you as the resident expert.  I am betting you did not put your hat in the ring for this need job that was posted a week ago to help raise funds....you would rather just complain and......well....enough  Lying constantly says a lot about your credibility.....  If you don't like UNT....fine  can't change your mind...

I take it you're going to go have a BBQ lunch today?

I am not really sure what that means.   With that, I do like BBQ.....but sadly, I brought my lunch.  Chicken, veggies and fruit...

That you will be attending the Coaches Radio show where you can sit up front and hand Benford your money out of your wallet.

I am not so sure about your reading comprehension here.  I noted that I felt it is time for TB to go. Can you explain that money out of wallet thing, or have you just jumped blindly onto others blather?  As far as going to the coaches show, if I could go, I probably would go.  Why, do you think that is that a problem?  Is attending that coaches radio show a badge of idiocy?  I am thinking you were trying to be funny....but no...it didn't work out that way.

Fill the Pit with Benford protestors Thursday night. Denton is fond of protesting. It could be a protest that could actually makes a difference. Someone start a thread. I'm in.

I'm not stupid to accept mediocracy....

I'm also not stupid enough to waste my time being around people who are wasting your time.

Make sense?

Enjoy your lunch...

no, makes no sense...it still does not explain your comment and ability to comprehend what you read.  I am enjoying my lunch as I type this...  healthy food can actually taste pretty good when prepared properly.

I will be there to support the team....and if I can get to Denton early enough....support a local "Hops(T) and Barley(C)" establishment just a block or 2 North of the square...  Who will join me there as well....  2 great causes...5:30ish

The AD should build on the protest group approach and use it to drive attendance. Each game can be a different cause.

#sanctuary? Sure

#blacklivesmatter? Absolutely

#hugacop?  Sign 'em up

#gingersburneasily? That's just common sense, but sure, they are welcome as well.

Oooooh so you want some?

No thanks, you need to save your money for the radio show.

You are still not making any sense to me what-so-ever....  I am truly asking that you slow it down to my speed so I can understand what you are saying.  Me giving money to Benford?  Where is that coming from?  Did I miss something?  Did you read my post?  I said I was wrong on TB and he should not be a HC.  How does that equate to me handing him money out of my wallet?  He will get paid by the University for the remainder of his contract...nothing me or you can do about that.  I just want to understand.  and what is "oooooh so you want some"  I do not understand the youthful slang that you are dropping on me....

Empty seats shout out volumes as to the state of the program.  Better times ahead, I'm sure.

could it be any worse and the few fans there have no energy.  The energy gets sucked out of you by the first TB time out.

Chipotle sells beer and wine, too.

Maybe Benford can go work there instead.

I've seen funerals with more energy than the pit when I made the annual pilgrimage  last month.

It's difficult, though not impossible, for things to not get better.

The longer this goes on the more doubt I have of this program ever becoming what we all thought it could become.
