Good for him,  I think he probably would have been a lot better hire than McCarney.  All hindsight, but I do think he got a lot more out of the team than McCarney did.

Considering how hot Butch Jones's seat is, that may not be a very long stay.  But I wish Coach Chico all the best and will always appreciate the small amounts of pleasure he was able to bring to otherwise joyless stretches of North Texas football.
