I get that but there have been cases where kids went to their first official then cancelled the rest.  Then the opposite just getting the free vacations and ending up with the last official visit.  I know in NCAA when i was the Coach (VIDEO GAMES) I always pushed for the later official visits.  Just seemed like things went better for me. hahaha

I think if you've done a good job establishing a relationship with that recruit then they aren't going to cancel their OV. Likewise, if you've built a strong relationship with them and they visit you first, you have a shot at setting the bar high and maintaining that even after the visit.

Just like everything in recruiting, it all depends on that specific recruit.

I'm pretty sure we still have them. 

And they don't like to admit it but they do flirt with the recruits pretty hard. 

... but if my memory is correct, they weren't exactly 10s. Or 7s for that matter.

Brings to mind the Zach Thomas story about his official visit to Lubbock. He was picked up in a limo with what you would call "ladies of the evening" and plenty of booze. The rest is history.

It's great that our commits are coming in for OVs.   Need to keep them impressed and locked-in.  They're probably the more important visitors today, but I cant help but wonder about our other visitors and if we can win them over.
