Never said it would work, I think chances are it will not.   However, there is a slight chance this could be a game changer.

Euroleague and other semipro teams aren't farm systems for the NFL. Semipro teams (like the various indoor football leagues) take guys that just aren't good enough to be NFL players. That's why we never see them.

While I see where you're coming from, I don't think it's analogous. They are targeting different individuals. It's essentially a private league and it feels like education is secondary (although I'm sure they'll still use that as a way to find funding).

No idea how this will work out.
