So similar to the wonderful defenses of 2021 and 2022. Not saying it'll be the same result. I realize it's not all the same defense and coaching matters. Just slightly misleading to call it a 4 man front. Sam Houston's depth suggests a 3-4. Still better than a 3-3. If he plans on running a 4-2-5 then cool, whatever, but I hope it's a true 4 man front and not 3 with a Jack and 2 LBs.
Currently a single game of participation rules out the redshirt in college basketball unless its a medical redshirt. They are discussing changing that this year along with other rule changes through the NCAA. I think the 33% rule would be good in other sports just like football receives but we will see.
Feel free to post the others but I am intrigued by the commits / signees we receive today. Once they sign they are locked in there is no waiting to see if they get to campus. It appears our coaches are having them sign once they secure the commitment. Then posting later on the UNT Football twitter page such as below. This is not the puzzle piece from today just an example of a player who is 100% a UNT Football player as of this post.
