Recruit us another one of these guys.  It'll help your passing game, return game, and make average quarterbacks loom like stars...

imagine if 63% of his yards didnt come from his return game and actually came from his route running and his ability to expose safeties and linebackers.

Don't forget the ST coaching and teammates to set up those blocks, too. Those made a huge part of his KR/PR success, guys.

He had tremendous success as a return man under two different coaching staffs, and throughout significant roster changes.  And the coaches didn't seem to be able to make anyone else return kicks like Brelan.

I was surprised that Brelan didn't stick with a pro team.

Didn't seem like anyone would take him, sadly. I guess he wasn't tall enough for WR and not big enough for RB. He's easily fast, quick, and smart enough to do both.

Did Brelan graduate ?  Does anyone know what he's doing now ?

GO MEAN GREEN

Was playing Arena football last I heard. I did see him at the Southern Miss game though.

My favorite plays of Brelan's:

1. The KO return against Georgia.

2. The slant he took to the house against LSU.

The two above should his incredible speed.  He ran away from SEC athletes in both.

3. His returns against Kansas State in the Fouts Finale.  Should have been tackled a couple of times.  Just incredible runs, and watching Chico sprint down the sidelines was added entertainment.

Was his 40 time ever posted?

According to his LinkedIn profile, he's playing arena football for the Orlando Predators.

Looks like he is on their Injured List:  http://www.arenafan.com/teams/?page=roster&team=13

Looks like he was doing some special teams too.  In 2016 he had 4 receptions for 36 yards, 6 tackles and 8 assists.

I saw him walk, so he did graduate. Not sure what he's doing now.
