There was some quality air-raiding going on. Army's corners could not match up with our WRs, so they played a soft zone. Morris had all day to find open guys. When they tried to match up, they were burned. Also, some quality screen action.

Great post. This breakdown of the passing game performance in the HoD Bowl shows that when we improve the talent on offense (OL give QB adequate time; WR's more athletic, etc.) this "Let It Fly" theme will be very productive and entertaining to watch.

Army's DBs are not as good as some of the CUSA squads we faced, and so that is partly why we did not see more 300+ yard passing games.
