Was suspended his freshman year at Notre Dame before electing to transfer. I don't think the why was ever released that I could find. But it was pending resolving a "private university matter".

Excited about the talent.

Feeling no need to speculate on the reason for his exit from Notre Dame, I'm choosing to trust that the staff has done their due dilligence on any off field concerns and have plans in place to help this young man keep those in the rear view mirror.

To this point - as seen in the way Goree's dismissal was handled - Littrell has earned the trust that he values the culture of the locker room highly.

Hardly quiet if he had offers from West Virginia and Kansas.

Well, he had multiple offers, so if it was stealth recruiting, the strategy failed pretty badly.

Again, this is speculation, but the most consistent thing I heard about his getting suspended at Notre Dame was for a physical altercation with a teammate(s).
