I have to run some errands I'll be back later to expand on these numbers.  Also our rushing defense was 1 spot behind the vaunted Tech Defense with 239.5 yards per game allowed on the ground.  That is after playing the number 2 ranked rushing attack in NCAA twice in one season.  Who averaged 340 a game.  gotta go finish some post Christmas sale shopping that I promised the wife.  Enjoy some numbers while I'm gone.

1. Rushing yards per carry Bowl: 3.55

2. Rushing yards per game Bowl: 96

3. Passing yards per completion Bowl: 11.62

4. Passing yards per attempt Bowl: 7.85

5. Passing yards per game Bowl: 314

6. Yards per play Bowl: 6.11

7. Total yards: 410

Armys averages for above stats:

1. 3.88

2. 121.2

3. 11.59

4. 6.55

5. 170.2

6. 5.09

7. 291.5

I think we faired pretty good all things considered against a top tier defense.  Morris was pressured 7 times was 0-7 when pressured but did not get sacked which I think the OL and coaches deserve a ton of credit that unit was most unstable of the units all year with guys moving around etc, and they really did a good job between play calling and doing their job in 1 on 1 situations of keeping their man blocked.  Just some fun numbers to look at.  Also I understand their offense takes away possessions and the numbers can be skewed etc etc, but that's the same offense we played against and we managed these numbers with a very limited amount of talent available and losing several key contributors during the season.  I have hope for next year!  Now let's get on the recruiting trail and bring some absolute studs in!!

( something wrong with formatting of game stats in initial post -- Army did not lose 2 fumbles )

FWIW, Army pass defense season stats are aided by facing at least two decidedly non-passing teams each season (Navy, Air Force).  In 2016, we faced 4 of the bottom 25 passing offenses in FBS not named "Army" (UTEP, Wake Forest, AF, Navy).  The only top 50 passing offense we faced was Notre Dame (#48).  Next highest was #60 Duke, and we played them in the fringes/aftermath/whatever of Hurricane Whatsitsname -- Duke threw 16 passes, which was 5 below their next most pass-less game.

Phenominal insight!! Yeah ESPN screwed that stat up and I forgot to make note.  How well do you see Army traveling next season to Denton?

Without citing numerical estimates, I'll quote myself from a similar question asked about how well we would travel for the bowl:

I believe we'll have a very good turnout. We have lots of graduates within easy traveling distance of the game.  The West Point Society of North Texas includes about 1200 graduates and 200 parents of cadets & graduates.  There are 50 or so cadets per USMA class from the DFW area.  Fort Hood, where I spent most of my active duty time, is an easy drive.  Fort Sill, the home of Field Artillery and Air Defense Artillery, is close.  Lots of Army football players go to those two branches.  We tend to draw well for games in Texas.

For the 2017 game, I'll add caveats like "depends on the team's record", "depends on the weather", and "travel the weekend before Thanksgiving could be a stopper for some."  There will certainly be fewer cadets at the game next November.

the actual conference dates are late spring, i believe.  we know all our opponents, just not dates/times

at iowa/smu/la tech/southern miss/uab/fau

home army/lamar/utsa/utep/rice/odu

odu/fau crossover games were kinda figured out by all the different leaks at media days and the like.  i assume all 3 texas teams will still be on the same rotation, but it would be nice if we dropped one this year and added uab to our home schedule instead of a texas school.
