This is very disappointing loss.  Coaches ... players ... play calls ... just awful.  I guess it's something when you play so bad and still take it to OT.

if Harrell is calling lays still, he needs to go back to square one and redevelop his approach. Rough.

Disagree. Not awful. Room for improvement, sure, but we kept up with an Army team that had its best QB and didn't turn the ball over 7 times.

Yes this loss sucks. But I am not angry after this loss. I was after the UTEP loss, but this one is kinda ok. We have been shown what we knew: the defense needs more depth. Offense did ok, and SL showed some really smart game clock management and decision making. But the team battled throuout and kept playing hard and resilient. That said this shows that we are still a good ways off from challenging for conference titles. The goal next season has to be a bowl again.

hell of a game. team showed a lot of heart to continue to come back and I'll bet the disappointment serves as a good motivator for those back next year, especially seniors like Wilson and McClain. 

I hope the lot of you save your negativity and petty bitching, but I know this place better than to expect it.

We played the same game we did at West Point, difference is we were +6 on turn over ratio there, and we were -1 here.  

There is no regression, keep in mind our starter at QB was out and Wilson was not anywhere near healthy.  

If we had kept the turnover ratio even we probably win.  

I am grateful we got extra practices, now it's time for these coaches to win some recruiting battles.

OT play calling stunk.

 

In any case, I'm proud of what the Seniors accomplished. Hats off to you guys and thank you for putting this program back on track.

How can anybody be mad or upset w/today's game? We were down 24-7 to a really good team and we still fought the hell back to make it a game w/a chance to get it.  I mean I like and always pull for the service academies when they don't play NT so given last season, and all that's happened since then with the new coach, AD, staff etc today is a day to be extremely proud of our boys and university and have a bunch of optimism going forward.

I'm not angry about this loss. We just got outplayed. I would appreciate major improvement from Harrell next year, though.

That was. Hell of a game and our players fought all the way to the end.  Couldn't ask for much more out of them.   Can't wait for next year!

Harrell will look a lot better with players that fit the system.  Our OL made play calling a challenge all year.  There were a few I think he'd like back today but he will do fine.
