My sister will be graduating from UMHB this May. And i got a nephew playing soccer there.

Congrats to the CRU.

I have a nephew playing on the JV this year.

Their defense was most impressive.  Oshkosh had only trailed for 11 minutes total on the season but trailed that by the 2nd quarter.

Us in Temple/Belton are very proud of the Cru.  Fredenburg is a great guy and they've been consistent winners.  Glad they finally got the trophy.

They call it the "Centroplex", right?  Temple/Belton/Killeen/Ft. Hood.  My family is from Rogers, so I know the area pretty well.  Very nice new stadium at UMHB.

Indeed - you don't hear that phrase as much these days but yep that's us.  Rogers Eagles = football powerhouse (immediate seasons notwithstanding).  Here's a nice link up for you: Seth's old boss Larry Fedora's brother Lee was 48-15 at Rogers in the early 2000s.

Geez what a small world...Rogers is my hometowns biggest rival: Little River-Academy Bumblebees #StingEm. In all seriousness, I am back in the area Bc I'm coaching at Harker Heights HS (Killeen ISD) and we practiced at UMHB a few times this year: phenomenal football stadium.

I had family in Heidenheimer (the Mahlers) as well...and Buckholts.  Used to ride my CT70 out in the country on gravel and FMs in the area around those towns and south toward Holland and Val Verde.

I remember a story my Grandad told, which I'm pretty sure was about Little River-Academy.  This would have been decades ago.  I guess the teams were pretty evenly matched at the time and to try to get a psychological edge, whoever the Rogers coach was at the time did all the pregame warm-ups in Rogers and didn't show up at Academy until right at gametime.
