FIU - Isiah Thomas - fired after 3 seasons.

I'm not familiar with/can't remember any other "name" hires by former Sun Belt schools.

Mike Jarvis at FAU comes to mind, maybe someone else that I'm forgetting.

Yeah, but particularly Isaiah Thomas was an obvious bust even before he took the job. Kiffin and Davis have failed at past stints, but not quite so much across the board. They also have chops and skins on the wall, so this could go either way. But publicity wise this sure is good and differentiatees C-USA now from the sun Belt. We need some differentiation, as the last few seasons didn't really show clearly that C-USA is superior to the belt.
