This is a good hire by USF. He knows that area and has been recruiting it hard since the mid-90's with Spurrier. His team while he was at Louisville was compromised of a ton of Florida talent. 

They could quickly own that side of the AAC.

I have my doubts. Most coaches fired from big programs don't rebound quickly, if at all. Solich being the lone example coming to mind. 

If you can't beat Kansas and Iowa State with every advantage.....my guess is he's .500 at USF as well.

You have to win and he didn't. It's as simple as that. But when the number one booster publicly called your hiring a "kick in the face", I think the cards were stacked against you to begin with. He definitely underperformed but he was just at the wrong school. I think he'll be successful at USF.
