Well, oh so close. This was a game where I can't even guess how many times the lead changed hands. Very hard fought game on both sides. We had maybe 30 people in total there, scattered about the arena, including Dr. and Mrs. Pohl.

Once again Jones used the entire bench making frequent subs. Johnson had a mixed debut playing about 7 minutes total. Had an awesome rebound and slam dunk, but ultimately fouled out of the game, but some of the calls against him were questionable. No way TCU had more than maybe 1500 in attendance but the crowd, like our game with Baylor, really got into it during the second half.

It was a very defensive game, with both teams shooting poorly in the 30-35% range. This was for sure the type of game that can give you a heart attack. So damn close, no one had a lead of more than 5 or 6 and the other team would alway close it up quick. These are hard to take, but we're making continuous and serious improvement.

Thanks for the report. No doubt those games are hard to take but I am hoping our team grows from them. This game and the Baylor game give me hope that maybe just maybe we can put something together this year (something together would be 10-15 wins).

The lead changed hands 25 times. The teams were tied 15 times.

This was definitely the closest played game I've seen in a long time, and exciting to watch, overall. This team has done a complete turnaround, and I wouldn't be surprised to see them go well above .500 in conference. They improve every time I see them.

I know Jerome Rogers in particular was upset, and I thought he had a hell of a game. I have to give props to this whole team for playing with fire that they didn't have the first time I got to see them. Also props to Johnny Jones for nailing down the basics that were extremely sloppy the first few games out of the gate.

This team just might hit that next level and be the real deal in conference play. ph34r.gif

Although Johnson did not play particularly well, it was easy to see he was a very powerful force in the lane. The loudest cheers of the night from TCU came when Johnson fouled out. Everyone could tell he was something special.

Once again sophs Ty Thomas, Ron Harris and Justin Barnett were impressive coming off the bench.

CMJ, I miss chatting with you during the games. Can't really right now because of school and finals and whatever , but next semester we're gonna have to find a chat room during some Mean Green games.

No problem man. I don't catch all of them because of the internship I'm doing...but I still am able to listen to most games.
