ESPNU will begin the announcements at 1100 this morning. For us underlings, we should know around 1330.

GO MEAN GREEN!

Funny, I'd think they would go the other way to keep the playoff suspense and therefore the viewers. Silly ESPN.

The 11:00AM show is only the CFP selection show.  The regular Bowl selection show airs at 4:00PM.

I would expect word to leak about our bowl game around lunch time.

They have practice at noon and coaches already know....  I agree.  Won't be much longer.

  • Las Vegas will probably be UH vs SDSU
  • Cure Bowl is probably ArkSt vs UCF
  • Camellia Bowl might be CMU vs Troy
  • Independence Bowl is going to be Vandy vs Wake
  • St. Petersburg Bowl looks to be Miama (OH) vs Miss St.
  • Cactus Bowl is going to be Boise St vs Baylor
  • Arizona Bowl is Idaho vs USA

As long as LaTech is OK with going to Ft. Worth, it looks like HoD for us.

Without going into some voluminous explanation, how the HELL do you work these things out?  Are you tracking bowl/conference agreements on a chart somewhere?

I find it humorous that the College Football Playoff office is in Grapevine.

I mean, I get it; logistics, centrality, airport, et al. But it's still funny to me.

It's SMU setting the trap for when they shall rise again.

I was watching ESPN last night. They had reporters out there for the announcement. I wonder if they will blow white smoke before the big announcement.

Well, let's see: First, the Earth cooled. And then the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died and they turned into oil...

Dude, I asked about bowl selections, not a detailed explanation of the UNT parking situation!

On ESPN.com on the header under Bowls they have Army penciled in to play in the Armed Forces. They also have the CFB Playoff games penciled in, E. Michigan vs ODU in the Bahamas, and the HBC Bowl game penciled in. Js.

You are right and that is strange. Well, this could be interesting.

ETA: I really think this is a typo and they meant to put Navy. I think that one was officially offered and accepted last night.

Typo.  Navy is definitely playing at AFB

So us in HOD and Army in Armed Forces. That's a relief. We play Army, what, the next 6 years, 7 straight with this season? Glad we aren't facing them in our bowl.

Edit: confused. The tweet @GMG24 posted shows Army accepted a bid in the armed forces bowl and Wren tweeted we'll be at the HOD so why are people also saying we'll play Army?
