North Texas Awaits Its Bowl Fate North Texas will learn its bowl destination Sunday, and tickets via the North Texas Athletic Ticket Office will go on sale immediately after the announcement is made.  Mean Green fans should prepare to purchase tickets on Sunday or on the days immediately following, and stay tuned to MeanGreenSports.com for the latest bowl information. Tickets can be purchased online, in person at the athletic ticket office located next to Gate 2 at Apogee Stadium, or by phone at 940-565-2527. The ticket office will be open Sunday after the announcement until 5 p.m., and will have extended hours the following week beginning Monday, Dec. 5, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.  Bowl tickets purchased from North Texas will include free admission to the pre-game tailgate, free FedEx shipping, and extensive will call pickup. I like how they're creating a sense of urgency to buy tickets and putting extra staff on at the ticket office.  Could it be that I'm actually able to buy tickets from my own f'ing ticket office this year?
